03.31.2025 Lincoln PTA Meeting Minutes
- Meeting Called to order: 4:19PM
- Approve minutes – Minutes were approved as prepared.
- Treasurer’s report and presentation of bills – See attached
- Teachers report – Charlotte’s Web activities and Read Across America were a huge success during March. Please send pictures to lincolndragonyearbook@gmail.com for yearbook and slideshow
- Principals report -The cuts mentioned at the last meeting still have not been resolved. Some positions may open back up. Still waiting for counseling allotment from the district. Family Picnic/Tree planting day will be 4/11. Summer school deadline was 3/21. State testing begins in May.
- Carnival recap – Holly was able to put a lot of what she does into a google doc to help transition to someone else running the carnival in the future. It would be good if everyone kept notes on what worked and what areas could be improved. Look at snacks next year, maybe don’t need as many if we have all the food trucks.
New Business
- Reschedule Association Meeting
- New Date: May 15th, to coincide with Ice Cream Social and Art Show.

- Complete nomination form ASAP so it can go to vote before the May 15th meeting.

News from 12th District PTA
Training is happening on April 7th. Start time is 6:30pm via Zoom. We will be covering how to get ready for the upcoming school year now that you are a PTA leader. We hope you can join us to learn something new or brush up on your PTA skills.

Honorary Service Awards: We are looking for a few great people in our community to honor at our event in May. Do you know someone who goes above and beyond for our Ventura County Community?
